Uniquely Me...14 Things in 2014

The January challege at My Mind's Eye at http://mymindseye.typepad.com/blog/ encouraged me to take time to look at what 2014 might mean to me. I know it will be filled with changes and I was so glad I spent a little time to put on paper what will be important to me this year. What my list ended up being is a nice mix of taking care of me and serving others! It should be a wonderful year! Here is my interpretation!

The inspiration for this LO came from the sketch at Scrap Africa at http://scrapafrica.blogspot.com/.

Us

This LO was created using the inspiration and sketch from Let's Get Sketchy at http://letsgetsketchy.blogspot.com/.
One thing I love about using sketches is it really jump starts my creativity! I took the sketch and turned it sideways to start my LO. The picture in this LO features my two youngest daughters and was taken in April, 2013, at the graduation of my third daughter. It was a great time of celebration that was enjoyed by two of her sisters and several other family members!

Perfect Moments

Starting the new year off right today by working on a few challenges sponsered by my favorite scrapbook sites. Today I am sharing a LO that I created based on the inspiration and sketch from Flying Unicorn at http://flyingunicornforums.com/.  I love the Mojo Monday sketches!

My Interpretation

I had planned on using some of the snow pictures I had taken recently but with the sub-zero temperatures we are currently experiencing it made me a little colder just looking at the pictures! So with the sun shining through the window in my scrap room I started looking at my spring flower pictures and for at least a moment I felt a little warmer! This LO features a picture of my rhododendron that bloom in late spring.
