Happy Forever

The September challenge for My Creative Scrapbook came together so well.  The pictures feature my youngest daughter and our sweet little chihuahua, Jumbo! Lil J and I went to Cleveland to visit my daughter last fall and it was the perfect day to spend some time outside visiting the beautiful parks in the area. I never leave home without a camera and was delighted with the pictures I was able to get. Here is the sketch I based my layout on from http://mycreativesketches.blogspot.com/

Beauty is Everywhere

The September Sketch Challenge from MME was the perfect sketch for me to use some of my MME stash that I have been holding onto! The paper really enhanced the picture that was taken last fall  at Berea  Falls Overlook just outside of Cleveland, OH. It was a beautiful fall day as I was visiting my daughter at collegeso we made our rounds to some very scenic places and snapped a few pics! I was a little dismayed that I only had my little point and shoot camera on me instead of my nice camera but was pleasantly surprised that I captured some great shots!

It is truly hard to believe how time does fly!

One of my scrapbook goals for the year was to participate in some of the challenges presented by so many wonderful online companies. I love to take the sketch presented and make it my own! Today's layout was created using inspiration from the sketch at My Creative Sketches. http://mycreativesketches.blogspot.com/

The picture in my layout was taken of my oldest daughter and me at my third daughters college graduation this spring. It is not very often I get in front of the camera as I am usually the one snapping the pics!
